The latest survey results from our partnership with the Center for Educational Effectiveness are now available for review. Your input is invaluable to us, and we sincerely thank you for participating in the survey and sharing your thoughts and concerns with us. We hope you will continue to think about and identify areas where improvements can be made, and that you continue sharing your thoughts and feelings with us.
The feedback we have received from members of our school community has highlighted areas where we can continue to improve, and we want to reiterate that we are listening to these concerns and are committed to finding collaborative solutions that move us forward together - all while keeping the focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for our students. While we are proud of the accomplishments and successes that our school district has achieved over the years, we also recognize that there are times when we fall short of our ideals and that there is always room for growth and improvement.
The PDF survey results from CEE have been added to a Google Drive folder that is linked below. While the overall district results are not as positive as we would like them to be, we find it encouraging that there has been positive growth in nearly every survey category. Through our continued and reinforced partnerships, we can make strides in improving these results even further.

Next steps
Now that the results of the November 7th election have been certified, we have welcomed two new board members to the board of directors: Amber Baker was newly elected, and Jake Bredstrand was officially elected to the position after serving as an interim director. Now that the new directors have been sworn in, the board also elected a new president (Brett Jones) and vice president (Emiliy Enquist). And of course, we are accepting applications for the district’s next superintendent. By the spring, the district will have a lot of new faces in leadership positions. We hope you’ll join us in our commitment to working alongside the new district leadership to address the areas of concern that have been raised by the Ridgefield School District community, both right now and over the coming months and years.
The survey results provide a great starting point for us to address areas of concern, and we are inviting you to provide more feedback. If you have thoughts about what you would like to see, hear, and experience from Ridgefield schools that would improve your perceptions of our schools, please share them with us via this open-ended Google Form. You can submit your responses anonymously, and your answers will help inform our decisions as we move forward together.
