Ridgefield School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Luke LeCount as our new Executive Director of Employee Services. With experience as a teacher, assistant
principal, principal, and central office administrator, Luke brings a strong track record of leadership and a deep commitment to supporting both staff and students.
Prior to joining Ridgefield, Luke served as Director of Human Resources at Battle Ground Public Schools. He also held the position of Director of Middle Schools, where he focused on principal leadership and school improvement initiatives. Earlier in his career, Luke served as a classroom teacher, associate principal at Jason Lee Middle School, and associate principal and athletic director at Skyview High School. He was later named principal of Thomas Jefferson Middle School, a role he held for four years before transitioning to district-level leadership.
Luke’s experience spans both instructional and operational leadership, and he prioritizes clear communication, strong relationships, and building systems that help everyone succeed. His approach is centered on ensuring that every student and staff member feels valued and supported, and he understands that all of our roles ultimately serve our students.
