\r\nDear Parent/Guardians,
\r\nThe school year is flying by so quickly. It is hard to believe we are in December with winter break upon us! The staff of Union Ridge Elementary School have been busy providing an outstanding learning experience for your student. This is an important job, and we realize that every moment counts! We work with urgency and focus to support each student.
\r\n‘Tis the season for a variety of illnesses. Please see the attached information from our school nurse. Everyone working together can make for a healthier environment for all.
\r\nReferrals for testing for participation in the Ridgefield School District’s Highly Capable Program for the 2019-2020 school year are currently being accepted. See the attached Highly Capable notification.
\r\nHere are a few activities that will be taking place over the next few weeks:
\r\nDecember 20th - Pajama Day and Last Day of school before winter break
\r\nDecember 21st-January 2nd - Winter Break
\r\nJanuary 3rd - School Resumes
\r\nJanuary 18th - PTO Family Movie Night 6:00 PM in Building B.
\r\nMore information will be coming home soon.
\r\nJanuary 21st - Martin Luther King Day - No School
\r\nJanuary 24th - Pie with the Principal 7:00 PM in the Library
\r\nJanuary 25th -Teacher In-service - No School
