FREE FLYERS!

As part of its efforts to be more environmentally friendly and to embrace innovative technology, Ridgefield School District uses a digital flyer delivery service called Peachjar, which provides a free online service for schools. School and school district-approved flyer are distributed through email and posted to a webpage, giving parents and others easy access to information about upcoming school activities, programs, and events. HOW ARE FLYERS DISTRIBUTED?

Individuals and outside organizations seeking to post or distribute information in schools must submit materials to Peachjar, our electronic flyer service provider at www.peachjar.com. Materials are then forwarded to the District Office for approval. The Assistant Superintendent or designee will review all materials submitted by outside organizations for distribution.

Dissemination of the information does not reflect the district’s endorsement or sponsorship of the activity. Peachjar will automatically include the following disclaimer on each flyer: The Ridgefield School District does not sponsor this event, and assumes no responsibility for it.

1. Visit the Peachjar registration page.
2. Register as a Program Provider (account type). 
3. Upload your flyer for approval.
4. 
Pay the service fee.

RECEIVING FLYERS

Parents - No action is required on your part, provided you have kept your email contact information updated with your child’s school. 

You will receive a welcome email from our service provider, Peachjar, that includes a username and password. This will give you the opportunity to manage your account and flyer delivery preferences. 

You do not need to login to receive or view school e-flyers, but you must login in order to “opt-out” of this delivery service. Please keep in mind that this electronic method of school flyer delivery will eventually replace the paper distribution of flyers at your child’s school. By opting out, you may miss important information pertaining to your child and other school events.

If you do not receive the welcome email, or if others in your family would like to sign up to receive flyers, please set up an account by clicking on the Peachjar button located at the bottom of each school’s website homepage. Click on My Account and follow the instructions to register.

Once a flyer is posted to a school’s Peachjar site, you can view the flyer through the Peachjar button located at the bottom of each school’s home page. Additionally, flyers will be delivered to parents’ emails as an embedded image, not a link. This means you will immediately see the flyer and be able to click through to an organization’s website to sign up.

This system is used exclusively for distribution of school-approved flyers. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose.
