YOUTH VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE
Ridgefield Youth Volleyball, brought to you by RSD Community Education, is a fun and recreational program focused on teamwork, sportsmanship, skill-building, and, most importantly, FUN! Designed for Ridgefield residents, this league is perfect for those eager to learn the game of volleyball alongside friends. Teams will practice together and compete in games against other Ridgefield teams. Please note, this is an IN-HOUSE program. Limited space.

SPRING FLYERS TRACK
The Flyers Track and Field development program is designed to teach fundamental skills of most Track and Field events while simultaneously developing speed and agility sports conditioning. Space is limited to 90. Boys & Girls | 2nd - 6th Grade
Practices are taught by RHS student athletes who will emphasize a fun, but focused, "learn by doing" atmosphere. Instructors, under the guidance of Nathan Eggleston (RHS Track Coach), will introduce and refine proper technique and practice skills for the greatest success. Athletes are introduced to all the track and field events, offering an opportunity to find their niche. Proper skill development and safety will be the focus of all activities.

The 2025 season dates are SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Full schedule listed below under Flyers practice. Our goal is to maintain the calendar. However, this is dependent on track availability around VRMS/RHS spring sports and may be adjusted. Any schedule changes will be posted here and emailed to registered families.
Join Jerry DeShazer, Zach Phelps, & Ed Bates for 6 sessions of Flag Football! Athletes will learn skills from route running, throwing, running with a football, defensive positioning, backpedaling, defending passes, breaking down for flag pulls and more.

YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Ridgefield Youth Basketball through RSD Community Education is a recreational program that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, skill development, and FUN! This league relies on Volunteer Coaches & volunteer officials. This league is for Ridgefield residents looking to learn the game of basketball with friends. Teams will practice 1 - 2 times per week depending on grade.

FALL FAST LANES TRACK
FALL 2025 - TBD
This fall, don’t miss out on an exciting new opportunity! Starting in October, join Coach B for Youth Track & Field at View Ridge Middle School. Boys and girls in 2nd to 6th grade will build essential skills, improve their running techniques, develop speed, and work on starting blocks. Athletes will also focus on endurance, agility, and speed endurance, with the chance to try out events like sprints, long jump, high jump, relays, and throws. Be sure to dress in layers and come prepared for all weather—rain or shine!

7TH/8TH BOYS BASKETBALL
Join our 7th/8th Grade Boys Recreational Basketball League! This 5-week league offers two practices per week and 4 Friday night games. Develop your skills, stay active, and enjoy the game. Teams will follow High School rules with a few exceptions. Games & practices are at View Ridge or RACC - in house league only (RSD students).
