It's time to enroll the Class of 2035! Online enrollment is open for kindergartners who will attend Ridgefield School District next year. Any child who will be five years old before Sept. 1, 2022 is eligible to enter kindergarten in the fall.
\r\nParents will need proof of their child's birth date (such as a birth certificate) and a signed and completed Washington state Certificate of Immunization Status form. Note that for students entering school in the fall, the State of Washington requires that immunization records be medically verified.
\r\nFamilies can find out which school their child will attend by using theClark County Property Information Center and searching by address. Parents/guardians must enroll their children at the school assigned to their address, even if they plan to request a boundary exception.
\r\nEnrolled students and their families are invited to attend a kindergarten orientation at their child’s school. These orientations are a time for you and your child to get to know your school and to learn more about the kindergarten program. Enrolling your child prior to these orientations is a key step in being prepared for the school year, and helps the district plan for the number of teachers and classrooms it will need to serve our youngest students.
\r\nOrientation Schedules
\r\nPlease enroll your 2022-23 kindergartner online now so that you can attend a kindergarten welcome orientation at your school. Orientations will be held on the following dates and times:

Little Spudders events provide early learning opportunities
\r\nRidgefield School District’s preschool program, the Early Learning Center, is hosting a series of monthly “Little Spudders” events for families with children between ages 2-5. At these events, your family will get to meet and engage with other families while learning about your child’s development, while children who attend will get the opportunity to play and interact with each other.
\r\nFamilies are invited to our “Meaningful Connections” during the 6:00-6:15 p.m. storytime where specialists will inform with resources and tools for supporting your child at home, and every child who attends will get to take home a free book! The next events will be on Thursday, April 21 and Thursday May 19 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the RACC, 510 Pioneer Street. You can also find the upcoming dates for all the monthly “Little Spudders” events here.
